These are the current Government Incentives offered in British Columbia:

1. Federal iZEV Program

As of May 1, 2019, the Government of Canada provides incentives for all battery electric vehicles with a base model MSRP under $45,000, or under $55,000 in the case of vehicles with 7+ seats. The iZEV program offers up to $5,000 off the purchase price of a qualifying new battery electric vehicle.

2. Clean Energy Vehicle Program (CEVforBC)

The CEVforBC point of sale incentive program is managed by the New Car Dealers Association of BC, and offers up to $3,000 off the purchase price of a qualifying new all battery electric vehicle.

3. BC SCRAP-IT Program

BC SCRAP-IT is a voluntary early retirement vehicle program that provides incentives to help British Columbians replace higher polluting vehicles with cleaner forms of transportation. The incentives are up to $6,000 for a new, and $3,000 for a used qualifying electric vehicle.

4. Specialty-Use Vehicle Incentive Program

This program is administered by Plug In BC and funded by the Province of British Columbia, the Specialty-Use Vehicle Incentive Program will offer rebates between $2,000 and $50,000 depending on vehicle type. With a variety of electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles eligible including motorcycle, low-speed vehicles, medium/heavy duty trucks, forklifts, and airport transport vehicles.
